As a   generalization of localizations in commutative rings, universal localizations   for arbitrary rings were introduced in 1970’s. In the talk, we recall the   definition of universal localizations and present results on relations   between higher algebraic K-groups of a ring and the ones of its universal   localization.

简介

惠昌常，长江学者，首都师范大学数学科学学院教授、博士生导师。在德国Bielefeld大学获博士学位，师从著名代数表示论专家C.M. Ringel教授；曾在Bielefeld大学参加德国科学联合会(DFG)重点项目“代数表示论”的研究工作。1991年回国，先后在德国、英国、比利时、匈牙利、日本、澳大利亚、墨西哥、加拿大、波兰、西班牙等国家访问和合作科研。论文发表在Adv. Math., Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., Trans. Amer. Math.   Soc., Math. Z., J. Algebra等国际重要杂志上。现为J. Algebra, Arch. Math.等杂志编委。
