报告摘要

The Kadomtsev-Petviashvili   (KP) equation with positive dispersion is a widely used model in nonlinear   science. Lump and line-profile soliton   are two generic types of solitary waves for KP equation. We construct a mixed   solution involving these two waveforms   and find acompetition of the two   different velocities of lump and one-line soliton, which results in an abrupt   emergence of a lump from the one-line soliton.

报告人简介

贺劲松，教授，博导。1999年7月研究生毕业于中国科大数学系，获得理学博士学位。留校任教至2008.12月，任讲师，副教授。2009年1月起，任宁波大学数学系教授；2018年11月起任深圳大学高等研究院教授；主要研究领域是可积非线性偏微分方程（组）的数学理论及其物理应用，多次应邀到   University of Cambridge (6次)，

University of   Sheffield (3次) 等大学访问和报告。负责国家国家科学基金5项（4项已经结题）。入选教育部2008年度新世纪优秀人才支持计划（2009-2011）。在国内外SCI学术刊物上发表论文总计160篇(美国数学评论收录145篇)。目前研究主要集中在怪波的数学理论及其物理应用，已经发表大约70篇论文。
