报告摘要

Joint work with professor Kefeng Liu. The moduli space of   cubic surfaces is studied by Allcock, Carlson and Toledo. By studying the   compactifications of the moduli spaces and the corresponding points in the   period, they proved the global Torelli theorem for cubic surfaces. Moreover,   they showed that the moduli space of stable cubic surface can be realized as   a ball quotient. Several years later, they also proved similar results for   cubic threefolds. Recently, we give a Hodge theoretic criterion to   characterize locally the moduli space of certain projective manifolds. Therefore,   the moduli spaces of certain projective manifolds are complex balls under global   Torelli theorem.

沈洋, 南京大学助理教授。主要从事代数几和复几何的研究，近期的研究工作主要关注霍奇理论，形变理论和模块间。
